Our B and B has lovely gardens with the
East Lyn River running along 80 metres of our northern boundary. Our
guests are welcome to bring their own tackle and try their luck for the
many trout and salmon which pass by. Permits are also
available locally to fish the three mile stretch of river between Brendon and Lynmouth.
Brendon, Oare and Lorna Doone
Brendon is a little village between Oare
(location of the famous novel Lorna Doone) and Lynmouth. The
Staghunters Inn is just along the lane and is well known for its
live folk evenings. Good food and ales can be had here lunchtimes
and evenings. A mile or so further along is the
Rockford Inn, another excellent watering hole which serves good
food and ales.
